Then Thursday I think we got to school and had to sign another accident report.
This time he was running across the room (because he can't go anywhere less than full throttle) tripped over his own feet and whacked his head off the lower shelf of a toy cart in the room. I'll tell you what ... this is the child that I will be taking to the ER frequently as he gets older. He just has no fear. Lately, he has taken to doing nose dives off the couch onto a pile of pillows. So far one of us has always been there to catch him but one of these times he's going to attempt on his own. God help us!

Oh, poor Carson! And poor Mommy! The joys of boys - I only gave birth to one, but always had a handful around and they DO like to test your anxiety level. The good news is that after a few years you begin to react with a shake of the head and a wry comment as you go about patching them up...again. It's hard when they're young, though - you just want to protect them from the blows of life ... and women with sharp teeth. (:
